Born in 1981 in Jerusalem (Israel), she moved with her parents to the USA and was discovered by an agent at age of 11. Léon (1994) would be her first movie.
She won several awards including a Golden Globe in 2004 as Best Supporting Actress for her role in Closer, and was also nominated for an Oscar in the same category.
